JUI-F chief demands govt to mainstream FATA
Fazlur Rehman announced to oppose the government in case it does an about-face
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Fazlur Rehman has reiterated his demands on Monday for the people of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) to mainstream them and give them the right to decision.
While talking to the media outside the parliament, Fazlur Rehman said that it was beyond his understanding that why the government did not take the parties in confidence over legislation regarding FATA.
It had been decided in a meeting convened earlier in the convention centre that the people of FATA would be given the power to decide about their future. Fazlur Rehman announced to oppose the government in case it does an about-face on the already agreed terms.
