The case took a turn when the CCTV footage of the marriage ceremony unveiled the lies of Uzma.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistani man Tahir Ali on Tuesday rejected all the accusations leveled against him by his Indian wife Uzma.

The case took a turn when a video of the marriage ceremony unveiled the lies of Uzma.

Tahir and the nikah khwan while clearly rejecting the allegations have said that nobody had forced Uzma for the marriage and she contracted it of her own free will.

“She had negated all the questions regarding being forced or threatened for the marriage. The ceremony was done properly. Uzma was asked whether its her first marriage or second. She said that she is marrying for the first time. I asked her about the Mehr on which she said that she wants to offer Hajj,” said that nikah khwan.

Uzma’s affidavit submitted at the time of nikah also exposed her fabricated statements.

“I had told her about my four children whereas I also knew that she had a daughter,” said Tahir Ali.

It has been revealed that Uzma provided two different names of her father on the nikah papers and in her court statement. On the nikah affidavit, the father’s name is Muhammad Naushad whereas in court she told the name Sageer Ahmed.

The information regarding her age is also incorrect as they appear contrasting on her affidavit and passport. Besides this, it has also been discovered that she is not a doctor but a health worker. She lied to attain her visa for Pakistan and said that she has to attend her ailing aunt. Doing this she provided the address of Tahir’s residence in Buner.

Despite of all the evidence and witnesses, Uzma still stand by her stance and statement in the court.
