Pakistani students' delegation was sent back by India after receiving threats from Hindu extremists.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A 42-member cultural delegation of Pakistani students was sent back by Indian authorities after receiving threats from Hindu extremists.

The Pakistan students’ delegation was on a 10-day visit to India under Youth Exchange Programme. The Indian authorities sent back the students’ delegation just after two days from Amritsar after threats from Hindu extremists.

Pakistan delegation reached Wagahb border on Wednesday. Pakistan foreign office while taking notice of the incident has strongly condemned the move. FO spokesperson has said that Indian government continues to play the role of silent spectator over the extremist acts of Hindu organizations.

Sending back the cultural delegation is a matter of great concern, he added. FO also pronounced that international community has expressed apprehensions over maltreatment with minorities in India.
