People of Karachi fed up from loadshedding: Siraj

Siraj-ul-Haq has said that JIs Karachi sit in is representing the oppressed masses.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) sit in against K-Electric’s loadshedding and overbilling outside Governor House in Karachi entered the third day.

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami, Sirajul Haq, while addressing the protesters on Sunday said that JI’s Karachi sit in is representing the oppressed masses. He said the people of Karachi are suffering from severe loadshedding and termed it a ‘gift’ from the government for the victims.

Sirajul Haq, severely criticized the government and said that the unannounced and prolonged hours of power cuts are making it difficult for the people of Karachi to manage their daily lives

He said that JI’s campaign against K-Electric is for the people of Karachi. The JI chief said that K-Electric has become a dragon after drinking blood of the poor masses.

Sirajul Haq said that JI sit in against K-Electric will continue until their demands are fulfilled.
