Punjab govt bars rallies, gatherings without permission
Punjab Home Department has issued notification on Thursday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Home Department on Thursday imposed ban on rallies, gatherings, sit-ins and processions across province without formal permission of the concerned deputy commissioner.
Likewise, a ban has also been slapped on Sheesha and Hookah smoking at public places including parks, hotels, restaurants, cafés and clubs till 31st May-2017.
Similarly, a third notification, issued by Additional Chief Secretary Major (retd) Azam Sulaiman, bars aerial media coverage of events and usage of drones, remote control model aircrafts, balloons and other related stuff for coverage sport events till 31st May-2017.
