Jindal met PM Nawaz in Murree despite the fact that he had visa to visit Lahore and Islamabad only.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A three-member delegation led by Indian steel tycoon Sajjan Jindal held a secret meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Murree despite the fact that they were granted visa to travel to Lahore and Islamabad only.

Dunya News has obtained the a copy of the travel documents of Sajjan Jindal that shows passport No 3883994 was issued on August 25, 2016 from Mumbai. A 10-day business category visa was issued to Sajjan Jindal on April 25 from New Delhi whereas box of host in visa information form was blank.



Sajjan Jindal and the Indian delegation were issued special visas under which they were exempted from police reporting in Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention here that special visas were issued to Sajjan Jindal and his delegation to visit Lahore and Islamabad only but the Indian delegation met Prime Minister in Murree.

The Indian delegation arrived in Islamabad at 12:05pm from Afghanistan yesterday from where they reached Murree to meet Prime Minister. Officials from prime minister house and foreign ministry greeted the Indian guests. The meeting last for one and a half hour after which the Indian delegation returned to Islamabad and left for India at 6:30pm on a special plane.
