Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed expressed annoyance over rejecting experts' report on Orange train

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Punjab Mass Transit Authority’s lawyer on Tuesday completed his arguments in the Orange Line Metro Train case hearing in Supreme Court of Pakistan. Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed expressed discontent over the lawyer’s rejection of the report by the experts, reported Dunya News.

In his remarks during the hearing, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed asked if the government wanted the experts to come from India if they weren’t ready to accept the report by Pakistan experts.

Punjab Mass Transit Authority lawyer Makhdoom Ali Khan said that a shaking of 3 mm per second could be produced from Metro train and it was negligible. He said during his arguments that the metro trains in New Delhi and Jaipur also passed by the historical buildings and the same technology was being used in Lahore as well.

Justice Ejaz Afzal said in his remarks that all were sleeping when encroachments were being done around Shalimar Garden in Lahore but now when a development project is under progress, everyone has a problem.

The case will be heard tomorrow as well.
