Met office predicts rain-thunderstorm at scattered places

A westerly wave is affecting western and central parts of country.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – New spell of rain has entered upper parts of the country after which various cities including Quetta received downpour.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), light rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in northeast Balochistan (Quetta, Zhob, Kalat divisions), Malakand, Hazara, D.I.Khan divisions.

Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions), FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are also liekly to witness rain.

However, cold and dry weather is predicted elsewhere in the country.
