Summary Match between Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi to feature politicians also at Gaddafi Stadium

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Sources revealed on Saturday that due to official engagements, Prime Minsiter Nawaz Sharif will miss the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in his hometown.

PM Nawaz is to reach Lahore today while he’ll be flying to Kuwait on Monday on an official trip. It is less likely that he’ll be able to spare some time to reach Gaddafi Stadium for PSL final.

However, his brother and Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif could pay a visit to watch the final of PSL as he recently shared a post on twitter about the preparations. He told that he is ready to welcome the foreign players and spectators at Gaddafi Stadium.

The political opponent of Sharif brothers and leader of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed has already purchased his ticket worth Rs 500 to watch the match sitting in the crowd while his ally and PTI Chief Imran Khan wasn’t that much interested in the idea of PSL final in Lahore as he called it ‘madness’ and a security risk.

Imran Khan as well as other Pakistan s cricket legends were not sent invitations for PSL 2 final. Meanwhile, the PTI chairman suggested free PSL tickets for spectators at enclosure named after him

PSL Chairman Najam Sethi claimed that he has invited Imran Khan four times to burry the hatchet and come to watch the final between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi but the PTI Chief refused to accept his offer.

Other leaders who will watch the PSL final in Lahore include PML-N’s Uzma Bukhari who, interestingly, will be sitting in the Imran Khan enclosure. Former PTI leader Javed Hashmi is also pumped up to visit Lahore for the PSL second edition final as he has bought his ticket.

Sindh’s Jam Mahtab Dahar told that he didn’t save money for the PSL final and asked journalists to pay for his ticket. Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani was reported to come to Lahore and attend the PSL 2 final with his grandsons.

Moreover, current Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah and KP CM Pervez Khattak expressed desire to visit Lahore with members of their cabinets.

The MPAs of Balochistan are hopeful for Quetta Gladiator’s win against Peshawar Zalmi. They believe that the real winner will be Pakistan after this activity.
