Commission for investigation of land scandal includes former session judges and MIT members

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Third proceeding of land scandal involving one lac ninety three thousand kanals was heard by Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Justice Mansoor Ali Shah on Thursday. The investigative report was aired by Dunya News while government had failed to complete its inquiry.

Punjab Advocate General acknowledged the investigative report and stated that various fake court orders were made to transfer the land.

A resident who suffered due to this irregularity told the court that Chaudhry Arshad along with his partners carried out a mega fraud.

It was suggested to file cases under criminal law against the accused while the LHC CJ inquired from government committee. “Judicial committee completed its investigation. Why couldn’t the government do so”, Chief Justice asked.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah announced that they will dig out the matter. He formed a high-level commission for investigation of land scandal which includes former session judges and MIT members.
