Sindh govt summons meeting to bring Uber, Careem under tax net
Sindh government earlier declared the online transport system as illegal
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh government has summoned a special meeting to address the issue of Careem and Uber and other online transport services, reported Dunya News.
It has also been reported that both Uber and Careem are expected to be brought under tax net in the meeting.
It is pertinent to mention that the Sindh government earlier declared the online transport system as illegal without the mandatory legal permits.
Sindh government has contacted PTA for fulfilling the legal formalities in this regard.
The provincial minister for Excise and Taxation Mukesh Kumar Chawla has summoned the meeting for bringing Uber and Careem under Tax net.
