The army chief inquired on health of the injured who are under treatment at a hospital

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa has paid a visit to Parachinar of Kurram Agency on Sunday to inquire on health of the injured of bomb blast that claimed 25 lives and left many wounded.




Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Asif Ghafoor has issued a notification over army chief’s visit. According to the media cell, visit of General Bajwa came in after terror attack on Saturday in a vegetable market in Parachinar claimed lives of 25 locals and left at least 87 wounded.

The army chief inquired on health of the injured who are under treatment at a hospital.

On the occasion, General Bajwa announced to construct an Army Public School (APS) in Parachinar to support education of the local children.

While addressing the locals, the COAS said that Pakistan is indiscriminately ours and responsibility of her security lies with all of us.
