PTI lawyer presents arguments in Panama Papers case

Naeem Bokhari has assured the apex court to complete his arguments during Monday's proceedings.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawyer Naeem Bukhari is presenting his arguments related to Panama Papers case against the Sharif family.

A five-member bench headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa resumed the case hearing today (Monday).

While addressing a public rally in Bahawalpur on Sunday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said that Pakistan’s future would be decided in Panama leaks case.

He alleged that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over the past 30 years had become an ‘expert’ in corruption.

Imran said that PTI sit-ins have created awareness among the masses and have changed Pakistan.

In a statement on Sunday, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb responded that PTI chairman is facing frustration and mortification.

She said that Imran Khan has once again failed to prove his accusations and now he doesn’t understand that what he is saying.

The Minister said that courts take decisions on basis of evidences and realities and Imran Khan is telling lies to nation.
