Nisar to challenge SC report on Quetta carnage
Nisar expressed that he alongside his ministry are constantly criticized on media for last two days
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar held a press at Punjab House and revealed that he came to know about the commission report through media.
He expressed that how come a one-sided report came out publicly and that the report was totally based upon personal attacks.
Chaudhry Nisar expressed that even a criminal is provided a chance in Supreme Court to explain himself and unless and until he is not found guilty, nothing is final.
Interior Minister let it be known that he alongside his ministry are constantly criticized on media over the last two days.
He professed that the internal security within the country is extremely important.
Chaudhry Nisar revealed that he did not meet Ahl-e-SunnatwalJamaat delegation.
He clarified that he only met Difa-e-Pakistan Council delegation and that Difa-e-Pakistan Council not a banned outfit.
Interior Minister also cleared out that Sheikh Rasheed, Ejazul-Haq and PML-Q leaders are the members of Difa-e-Pakistan Council.
He also revealed that he did not give the permission for public meeting in Islamabad and was not aware of the fact that Ahmad Ludhianvi was part of delegation that he met.
Chaudhry Nisar let it be known that the meeting with Difa-e-Pakistan Council was regarding cancellation of CNIC.
He expressed that the political parties should be asked why they brought Ludhianvi to the meeting.
Chaudhry Nisar revealed that despite the 1044 blasts in 2006 and 1780 blasts in 2007, no one asked questions.
He compared that the number of blasts dropped to 754 this year.
Interior Minister expressed that the earlier information was given on the day of APS attack.
Chaudhry Nisar also questioned as to who started Karachi operation and who carried it forward.
Interior Minister revealed that he had a discussion with Asif Zardari in the matter of DrAsim’s arrest.
Chaudhry Nisar also announced that he will defend my honor as ministry is not important for me.
He also expressed that the mandate of the commission should also be observed.
Interior Minister also announced to bring forward the record of 2.5 to 3 years.
He expressed that the decision to launch Zarb-e-Azab was made on collective basis.
“More than 20 thousand operations were carried out on the basis of intelligence information,” revealed the Interior Minister.
Nisar also announced to challenge Supreme Court’s commission on Quetta incident.
“Maulana Ahmad Ludhianvi contested election under Maulana Sami-ul-Haq’s Muttahida Deeni Mahaz and nobody protested at that time,” expressed Nisar.
Interior Minister expressed that whether someone would ask Election Commission as to why it allowed Ludhianvi to contest the election.
