The body will be handed over to the bereaved family after completing DNA test.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya news) - The process of collecting samples from the relatives of Chinese national Han Qiang to identify his body through DNA testing has completed.

However, samples to identify the remains of two foreigners including Harald Kessier and Herwig Eichelbenger, who were also travelling in the ill-fated PIA flight PK-661 from Chitral to Islamabad on Wednesday, are yet to be received.

Relatives of Kessier, an Australian national, and South Korea’s Eichelbenger, have not contacted the authorities yet.

On the other hand, the process to collect DNA samples of relatives of the Pakistani victims was completed on Friday.

On the other hand, funeral prayer of air hostess Sadaf Farooq was offered in Kallar Syedan. She was laid to rest in her native village Shah Bagh today.

People in large number attended the funeral prayers.

At least 47 people, including famed rock star-turned-preacher Junaid Jamshed, were onboard the PK661 when it smashed into the side of a mountain near the town of Havelian, in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, on Wednesday, after taking off from the mountain resort region of Chitral.
