KALAM (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan has pledged that his party will rid the nation of major corruption within ninety days if his party came into power.

Addressing a gathering after inaugural ceremony of 84MW hydel power project in Kalam, Khan said, “We have to catch big criminals and put them in jail.”

He asserted that the chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should be in jail for not catching Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on 13 cases of alleged corruption.

All these politicians who were nothing in the past are billionaires today, he claimed, adding that this is a system of injustice which destroys great nations and this is the biggest challenge.

“We are waiting on the courts to give their decision but in the courts of the public the people have spoken,” Khan remarked.

Speaking about the Kalam hydel power project, the PTI Chief said this power project will lift the community and bring jobs.

150 micro hydel projects are already complete and by the end of next year the figure will reach 350, he explained.

“Electricity will reach those areas where there was no access before and will change the lives of over one million people,” he added.

Khan said the hospitals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be an example for entire Pakistan in the coming days.
