Change of command ceremony for CJCSC held at GHQ
The Change of Command ceremony for CJCSC took place at the military headquarters.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Change of command ceremony for newly-appointed Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat was held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Monday.
Services chiefs, diplomats, senior serving and retired officers, and some other dignitaries attended the ceremony.
On the occasion, smartly turned out contingents drawn from three Services presented Guard of Honour to Gen Zubair Hayat.

The Change of Command ceremony for Chief of Army Staff will take place in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Outgoing Army Chief General Raheel Sharif will hand over the command stick to the newly appointed Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the ceremony.
ABOUT GENERAL ZUBAIR MEHMOOD HAYAT
General Zubair Mahmood Hayat was commissioned in Artillery Regiment on 24 October 1980. He is graduate of Fort Sill Oklohoma, USA, Command and Staff College Camberlay United Kingdom and National Defence Univesity, Islamabad.
He has wide experience of command, staff and instructional appointments. He has commanded an artillery regiment, mechanized division artillery, an infantry Brigade and an Infantry Division.
General Zubair Hayat has been Adjutant at PMA, Brigade Major of an Infantry Brigade, Army and Air adviser at Pakistan embassy in UK.
He has also been Chief of Staff of a strike Corps, Private Secratarty to COAS and Director General Staff Studies Directorate at GHQ . He has also held the appoitnement of Director General Strategic Plan Division (SPD) .
He has also commanded 31 Corps Bahawalpur and is presently Chief of General Staff at GHQ.
