Quetta: Three FC personnel, traffic police constable martyred in gun attack

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Three personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) and a traffic police constable were martyred on Saturday as unidentified terrorists opened fire on Fatima Jinnah Road.

The terror attack left one constable of FC injured while one passerby sustained injuries as well.

The wounded were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital however, the attackers managed to escape the crime scene.

Reportedly, police have lodged a case against unidentified culprits and launched investigations in the issue.

Last month training facility of Balochistan Police on Sariab Road was attacked that left over 60 cadets martyred and injured several others.

Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Sanaullah Zehri was revealed to have rejected release of funds to tighten security of the facility earlier. The fact that cadets had passed out but were made to stay there without arms also raised many eyebrows.

However, a probe is underway over the deadly attack.
