PPP leader Abdul Qadir Patel released on bail after 4 months
PPP leader arrested in case regarding treatment of terrorists at hospital released after 4 months
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Abdul Qadir Patel, who had been arrested for allegedly getting terrorists treated at a hospital, has on Thursday been released after four months of detention, reported Dunya News.
PPP workers flocked to the central jail as soon as Abdul Qadir Patel’s bail plea was accepted by Anti-Terror Court. The workers welcomed him with Balochi dance on the beats of drum.
Patel said upon his release that he’d continue political struggle from PPP’s platform. He said he really felt happy when party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that one of his ‘jiyalas’ was in jail.
After being released, Qadir Patel went to his home along with a rally of party workers.
