Mastermind of Civil Hospital tragedy not arrested: Balochistan govt's U-turn
Investigation commission said that the provincial government wasn't serious in investigating issue
QUETTA: (Dunya News) – Mastermind of Quetta Civil Hospital tragedy has not yet been arrested according to Balochistan government. In a complete departure from its earlier claim, Balochistan denied having arrested the mastermind. Investigation commission on the tragedy remarked that the provincial government wasn’t serious in investigating the issue, reported Dunya News.
Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, the head of the investigation commission, expressed anger over the lack of preparedness of Federal Interior Secretary and Additional Attorney General for the hearing of the case. Reprimanding Interior Secretary, he said that he had been given time earlier and was still not ready. “What exactly do you want”, the judge asked.
When the attorney general refused to submit a written answer before the commission, Justice Qazi Faiz Isa asked if he should call Balochistan Chief Minister for an answer if the attorney general wasn’t ready to submit an answer. He said that the advocate general came to the investigation only to disturb the commission. He warned Additional Attorney General and Interior Secretary that they were being paid from the taxes of the public and it was their duty to work with sincerity.
