Chinese company expresses interest to restart tram services in Karachi
It is pertinent to mention here that tramp services were suspended in 1975.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A Chinese company on Friday has expressed interest in restarting tram services in Karachi.
According to details, a delegation of Chinese company NORINCO International met Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah and submitted suggestions to resume tram services.
The recommendations have been sent to Transport Department for study. The tram will work through solar energy.
It is pertinent to mention here that tram services were suspended in 1975.
