Indian authorities have reportedly planned to halt water supply to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – After failing on diplomatic level to defend unjust Kashmir-occupation, India seemingly has stepped up to war stage as heavy and medium scale, ground-based ordnance was moved to front trenches on Friday along the Line of Control.

The movement of arms to the Line of Control initiated after Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting in the war room in capital, New Delhi which was attended by chiefs of all three armed forces.

Chief of the Army Staff of Indian Army, General Dalbir Singh Suhag, Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, Chief of Naval Staff, Sunil Lamba and National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval briefed the premier during the meeting over potential targets.

According to a British news agency, India could target defense installations of Pakistan in Azad Kashmir region using the artillery setup in Charri Maidan of Uri in Baramulla District and army camps in Mohra, Boniyar and Sonamarg.

Meanwhile, Indian authorities have reportedly planned to halt water supply to Pakistan through the shared rivers.

Amidst the warmongering, one of the state-sanctioned extremist groups in India has announced head money on the premier of Pakistan. As reported by Indian television channel, ‘Aaj Tak’, Kranti Dal announced Rs 10 million head money on Nawaz Sharif.

Indian movement along the Line of Control started after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif addressed the 71st session of the General Assembly of United Nations Organisations on Wednesday about Indian-occupation of Kashmir for decades.

Kashmiris have been fighting for their right to determination and freedom for over seven decades as India has never come true to its promises made in the past of holding referendum and giving the locals an opportunity to choose whether they want to side with Pakistan or not.

The latest of the series of skirmishes over Kashmir dispute started after a freedom fighter, Burhan Wani embraced martyrdom at hands of the Indian troops earlier this year.

Kashmiris demonstrated protests against the killing which prompted a curfew in the valley that lasted for over a month before it was lifted for roughly two days only for re-imposition in the days that followed.

The tensions spiraled out of control after a terror attack was executed on Brigade Headquarters in Uri Town of Baramulla District, a couple of days before Nawaz Sharif’s UNGA address, that killed more than ten Indian soldiers and injured roughly 30.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Indian premier held Pakistan responsible for the attack without providing any evidence or initiating a probe.
