However, he expressed his concerns saying that MQM founder raised an unacceptable slogan that led to demands of imposition of Article 6 while leaders of PTI, alleged of attack on building of state-owned television channel were left as they wished.
He appreciated Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah’s action that he took after Leader of the Opposition in Sindh Assembly, Khawaja Izharul Hassan was arrested last week under terror charges.
Sabzwari urged the government and sections of society to not marginalize the organization but stand by it as Mohajir community was not a traitor and would never be.
Taking his turn in a long list of names that addressed the session today, Khawaj Izharul Hassan said that MQM-Pakistan had urged the Chief Minister to take strict action after August 22 development in Karachi. He said that the night of August 22 was not less than the Day of Judgment for him and those associated with MQM.
With teary eyes, Hassan said that option to quit the party was always there but he spent his impressionable years in affiliation with MQM.
His mother sent him to MQM office in 1987 because she along with a lot of the locals believed in MQM as the true representative of the community, he added.
The Leader of the Opposition said that if he quit MQM and joined another party, the entire nation would start believing in what lawmakers belonging to MQM had to say.
Education Minister Nisar Khuhro stated that Pakistan was a gift to its people and should be taken care of.
Deputy Speaker of Sindh Assembly, Shehla Raza hailed MQM-Pakistan s attachment with the resolution saying that the leaders did not let sacrifices of their ancestors for the establishment of the country go in vain.
Speaking on the occassion, PTI s Khurram Sher Zaman said that Altaf Hussain should be hanged and no political party be allowed to operate if it has an armed wing.
He censured the parties which according to him had pursued violent measures for political gains in the past and called for a consensus against such tactics in the future.
Nusrat Sahar Abbasi, while delivering a speech urged the lawmakers and the government to introduce a statute that does not permit any anti-Pakistan statement in the future. As she spoke, the members of the assembly took notice of the fact that Abbasi had called herself a member of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz by mistake.
