NEPRA approves coal-fired power production project
NEPRA granted license to Hubco and China Power International Holding Limited
Islamabad (Dunya News) – The joint venture of Hubco and China Power International Holding Limited aimed to install two units of 660MW each in Tehsil Gadani, District Lasbella, in the Province of Balochistan.
According to Dunya News, NEPRA approved the projects and granted license to the companies.
In addition, the joint venture would also distribute a 500 KV double circuit transmission line for interconnection of the project.
It seems like the government is serious in curbing the load shedding issue and the problem would be settled prior to 2018.
