Rain likely in most parts of country
The rain spell will continue till Tuesday evening.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Rain is likely in various cities of the country including Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad on Monday.
According to Met office, the rain spell will continue till Tuesday evening.
Rain-thunderstorm with few heavy falls is expected at scattered places of South Punjab, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Sindh, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while at isolated places of Islamabad, Upper Punjab and eastern Balochistan during the next twelve hours.
However, downpour may trigger flash flooding and landslides in the vulnerable areas of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning was:
Islamabad 21°C, Lahore 25°C, Karachi 27°C, Peshawar 26°C, Quetta 19°C, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad 17°C and Muree 16°C.
