500 people were blinded by pallet guns in Kashmir, violations of human rights intolerable, says FO

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Foreign Office (FO) has on Thursday said that the human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir are intolerable. The spokesperson said that 500 people have so far been blinded by the use of pallet guns, reported Dunya News.

In the weekly briefing to media, FO spokesperson said that the allegations by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding Balochistan were responded to by the people of Balochistan. He added that Pakistan had no objections over the bilateral relations of India and Afghanistan but over the use of Afghan soil for anti-Pakistan activities.

Talking about the recent statements by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain’s statements, the spokesperson, Nafees Zakaria, said that the MQM issue will be dealt by Interior Ministry. He added that the British government had been informed multiple times about the provocative statements and activities of the MQM chief.

The spokesperson told that Tariq Fatemi was on a visit to various countries in order to win support over Pakistan’s inclusion in Nuclear Suppliers’ Group (NSG).

Responding to a question, Zakaria said that he was not aware of the postponement of United States (US) Secretary of State John Kerry’s Pakistan visit.
