Weather cools down after rain in parts of Punjab including Lahore
The low-lying areas were inundated in rain water which badly affected flow of traffic.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The spell of hot weather cooled down as rains lashed parts of Punjab including Lahore, reported on Monday.
The low-lying areas were inundated in rain water which badly affected flow of traffic whereas the locals visited recreational places to enjoy the pleasant weather.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat,Zhob divisions,Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir.
There are also chances of landslides in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Drizzle is also expected along Sindh-Makran coast. Hot and humid weather will continue elsewhere in the country.
