Decision regarding Army Chief's extension to be made in early September: sources
PM shall head to Islamabad on Wednesday or Thursday, say PM House sources
KARACHI (Dunya News) – After his return from United Kingdom (UK) after undergoing a successful open-heart surgery, Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif shall be making some important decisions in the upcoming weeks. In this regards, decision regarding the extension in the service of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif is expected to be made in late August or early September, reported Dunya News.
General Raheel Sharif’s performance in Operation Zarb-e-Azb was lauded in Dunya News’ programme ‘Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Saath’.
PM House sources stated that PM Nawaz shall be heading to Islamabad from his Jati Umra residence on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.
