Harassing candidates prior to elections has been a habit of PML-N: Bilawal
PPP Chairman also to address public gatherings in Azad Kashmir regarding upcoming elections
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Sunday summoned a number of leaders of his party in order to devise strategy for protests against the government regarding the Panama Leaks issue and also to plan for the upcoming elections in Azad Kashmir, reported Dunya News.
Sources belonging to PPP stated that Bilawal shall return to the country from London on Tuesday and shall hold meetings with party leaders in Islamabad.
PPP Chairman shall also address public gatherings in Azad Kashmir regarding the upcoming elections and will preside over important meetings of the party in the federal capital.
Bilawal shall also be briefed upon by party leaders about the recent violent incidents that took place during election campaign in Muzaffarabad.
Bilawal shall address public gatherings in Rawalakot and Muzaffarabad on July 14 and 16 respectively.
He shall stay in Islamabad till the elections in Azad Kashmir, which are to take place on July 21, are held. Meanwhile, he shall continue meeting with party leaders in order to devise strategy for protests against the government.
While commenting upon the violent incidents that took place in Azad Kashmir prior to the elections, Bilawal said that it has been a habit of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to harass candidates prior to elections.
PPP Chairman stated that the party was fully aware of the vile tactics used by PML-N during elections, adding that the political rivals will not succeed in their plans.
