Three terrorists of outlawed organization killed in Quetta operation

QUETTA (Dunya News/AFP) – At least three suspects of banned outfit killed in a joint operation of Frontier Corps (FC) and security agencies at Sariab Road in Quetta, reported on Thursday.

According to FC spokesman, the security forces conducted a raid on Sariab Road and killed as many as three militants in an exchange of firing.

Sources told that the terrorists belonging to outlawed organization were involved in the target killing of policemen and FC personnel.

On the other hand, funeral prayers of four FC officers who were martyred in a shooting incident by gunmen bikersat Double Road have been offered.

"Four paramilitary soldiers were martyred and two other soldiers and a civilian were wounded in the firing by unknown gunmen on motorcycle," Frontier Corps spokesman Khan Wasay told AFP.

On Tuesday four policemen were killed in two separate attacks in Quetta.

Mineral-rich Balochistan of which Quetta is the capital has been plagued for decades by separatist insurgency and sectarian killings.

Meanwhile, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Quetta said that target killers would never be forgiven as he directed to speed up the action against them.
