LAHORE (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has felicitated PML-N candidate Arbab Waseem Hayat over victory in by-elections in PK-8 constituency of Peshawar.
Arbab Muhammad Waseem Khan of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has won PK-8 Peshawar by-elections.

In a message released on Friday, Nawaz Sharif said that PML-N’s victory is expression of open trust on the government’s people friendly policies.
People of Peshawar have completely rejected those who are doing negative politics and giving empty slogans regarding ‘new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’.
The Prime Minister reiterated to make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a bright province and expressed hope that Arbab Waseem will do his best for development and prosperity of the province.
In a message posted on Twitter, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that people of Peshawar have spoken and they have ratified through ballot what people of Bannu voiced two days ago.

On the other hand, Information Minister Pervez Rashid said that people of Peshawar have endorsed the Prime Minister’s agenda of prosperity.
He said the PTI’s Government in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa has failed to resolve people’s problems in the province.
