PM should resign to end crisis: MQM Rabita Committee
Opponents will question transparency of the proceedings if PM remains in power, says MQM
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita Committee has finally demanded resignation from Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif saying that the resignation would help bring transparency to the proceedings, reported Dunya News.
According to the statement issued by MQM Rabita Committee, the party demanded PM’s resignation in order to ensure transparency in the investigations of the Panama Leaks. The party said that the PM could bring the country out of crisis by resigning from his post.
Welcoming PM’s decision to set up the commission to investigate the revelations made in the Panama Leaks, MQM Rabiat Committee said that PM could display statesmanship by resigning from his post.
