COAS congratulated the officers, soldiers upon completion of the operation says DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Lieutenant Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department General Asim Saleem Bajwa stated on Wednesday that Operation Zarb-e-Ahan that was initiated against the Chotu gang in the Kacha Jamal area has concluded successfully and that the perpetrators have surrendered unconditionally, reported Dunya News.

During a media briefing, Lieutenant General Bajwa said that all the police officers that were kidnapped by the Chotu gang were successfully retrieved during the operation. He further added that those who surrendered are in the army’s custody. He said that all the no-go areas in the country will be diminished.

“This island in the Kacha area had become a no-go area”, General Bajwa said, adding that all the hideouts of the Chotu gang will be destroyed whereas the family members of the dacoits are also under the army’s care.

He said that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif commended the army officers and soldiers after successfully concluding the operation.
