Apprehended RAW agents reveal communication codes
They used different coded sentences to communicate with one another
THATTA (Dunya News) – Two Research and Analysis Wing’s (RAW) agents copped by Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) have made key revelations during interrogation including coded sentences that they used to communicate, Dunya News reported Tuesday.
The two agents belong to a group that comprises of ten members. The two arrested agents named Saddam Hussain and Bachal Solangi revealed that nine different Indian telephone numbers were used to contact them.

Indian officer named ‘Karan Singh’ provided the agents with mobile phones that were equipped with advanced softwares.
Nabbed agents revealed that they used different coded sentences to communicate with one another. “Baray Moulvi Sahab Se Mulaqat” was used to arrange a meeting while for a key sitting they used to say “Mithai Tyaar Hai.”
Law enforcement agencies stated that details pertaining to nine Indian telephone numbers were collected.

It should be noted here that Pakistan after raising Indian interference issue in United Nations (UN) and other international platforms several times, got breakthrough in the matter after an in-service agent of Indian intelligence agency was apprehended from Balochistan in March.
Kulbhushan Jadhav, who confessed to have developed an association with RAW in 2013 is an Indian navy officer who is scheduled for retirement in 2022.
Jadhav was deployed in Iran’s Chabahar port and sneaked into Balochistan through Iranian border.
In a video released by the Pakistani authorities last month, Jadhav confessed to having funded Baloch insurgents.

He claimed that he established “a base” in Iran’s Chabahar 10 years earlier, making clandestine journeys to Karachi and Balochistan.
Indian intelligence operative further revealed that terrorists present in Karachi were used for sectarian violence. Numerous meetings were with sole agenda of spreading unrest in Sindh especially Karachi, he added.
Balochistan Home Department formally launched a case against the Indian operative in April.
Sources revealed that terrorism, conspiracy against Pakistan and terrorist funding related provisions were included in the case.
On Monday, Indian Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) RK Dhowan confirmed that Research and Analysis Wing’s officer Kulbhushan Jadhav had served in the Indian navy.
“Don’t remember anything of him, only know he was in navy. After that no contact,” an Indian news agency quoted R K Dhowan as saying.

Earlier, the Indian government confirmed Jadhav as Indian citizen but rejected the allegation that he had acted at its behest.
United States (US) also commented on the issue when State Department deputy spokesperson Mark Toner said that the government is aware of Indian spy’s arrest in Pakistan.
