PM Nawaz visits Lahore blast's injured at Jinnah Hospital
The Chief Minister donated blood and visited a hospital last night
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has paid visits to Jinnah Hospital and Services Hospital and inquired about conditions of the injured after a blast in claimed more than 72 lives yesterday, Dunya News reported Monday.
Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif and Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah accompanied the Prime Minister.
A suicide attack targeted Punjab’s metropolitan, Lahore’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park on Sunday that happened to be Easter. The Prime Minister has summoned a high-level meeting to review security situation of the heartland.
The death toll reported early morning today stands at 72 while over 300 are under treatment in Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Jinnah Hospital and others.
The Chief Minister had earlier donated blood and visited a hospital last night after ambulances had shifted scores of wounded people to different medical care centres.

Earlier the Prime Minister stated Sunday that his heart bleeds over the unfortunate suicide bomb attack. Grieving the loss, PM Nawaz added that terrorists had targeted the sons, daughters, brothers and sisters of the nation.
He expressed these emotions while chairing a high level meeting. The Prime Minister cancelled his visit to London and would be leaving for the United States (US) after two days.

According to the details, the four-hour long meeting was attended by Interior Chaudhry Nisar, Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, Director-General (DG) Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), DG Military Intelligence (IM) and commanders concerned.
Speaking on the occasion, PM Nawaz stated that the nation should unite and fight against terrorism.
The Prime Minister had earlier instructed authorities concerned to keep him updated with every development in the matter.
