KARACHI (Dunya News) – 5 National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) employees have been arrested by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday over suspicion of issuing more than 20 national ID cards to Afghan citizens, reported Dunya News.

FIA took action and arrested 5 NADRA employees including 2 women. The suspects belonged to a gang and had issued more than 20 national ID cards to Afghans.

Suspects include 2 Assistant Directors Tariq Wasi and Aqil Memon, Deputy Director Sheraz Kalor and two women Sobia and Parveen.

Tariq Wasi and Sheraz Kalor were appointed in Headquarters while Aqil Memon in DHA. Sobia and Parveen worked as data entry operator.
