Milk price rises in Karachi, commissioner takes strict measures
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Commissioner Karachi Asif Haider Shah actively responded as milk prices were raised unnecessarily on Tuesday whereas a meeting has been called in for its prevention, reported Dunya News.
Talking to the media, Haider said that a meeting has been called in to fix milk prices in the city. All the stake holders have already been taken in to confidence, he added.
Commissioner said that it has been 4 years and milk prices are still not fixed and that prices are increased more than needed. He said that the authorities will also respond to dairy farmers’ reservations.
