Local government of Peshawar has passed a resolution to ban Valentine Day's related celebrations
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain said on Saturday that Valentine s Day is against Islam and Pakistani culture, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, president Mamnoon said that Pakistani culture and Islam does not allow celebrating such an event.
It is worth mentioning here that the local government of Peshawar has passed a resolution to ban Valentine s Day’s related celebrations. The resolution describes Valentine s Day as a ‘frivolous day’.
Administration of district Kohat has banned sale of Valentine s Day cards, gifts and all other related things.
