2 PIA employees had died in a firing incident during a PIA protest rally outside airport in Karachi

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh, Major General Bilal Akbar formed a high level investigation committee on Wednesday to probe into Karachi s firing incident in which two Pakistan International Airline (PIA) employees had died, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, two employees died in a firing incident when unknown gunmen opened fire on the protesting rally of PIA outside Jinnah International Airport Karachi.

This Rangers spokesperson said that the investigation committee will probe into the matter and then give its report to DG Rangers. The spokesperson said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif want to know the true facts of the incident and to end the mystery of any conspiracy behind it.

The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of PIA had accused Rangers for the firing incident. Meanwhile media personnel were also injured during the baton charge conducted by Rangers.
