KARACHI (Web Desk) – Ex-Sindh home minister and Pakistan Peoples Party’s estranged leader Zulfiqar Mirza has predicted more arrests after Lyari gang war leader Uzair Baloch’s detention early Saturday morning, Dunya News reported.
Talking to media outside the court in Karachi, Zulfiqar Mirza said that Uzair Baloch’s arrest would become a reason behind the apprehension of those who have escaped from the country.
“I consider Uzair Baloch my brother,” he said.
To a question, he said that Peoples Aman Committee was not formed by him.
Speaking in favour of the Federal Interior Minister, Zulfiqar Mirza said that Chaudhry Nisar is an honest person. He is being stopped from performing his duties.
Earlier today, Mirza appeared before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi in a case pertaining to damaging a police station, forcibly closing down traders’ shops during protests in Badin.
The case hearing was adjourned till February 27 due to absence of prosecution lawyer.
