Dengue on the rise again as 30 patients confirmed
Last year more than 350 people had contracted the illness.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The start of the New Year has seen Dengue on the rise again as 30 patients suffering from the disease have been confirmed in Karachi.
According to Dengue Prevention and Control Program Sindh’s Managing Director Masood Solangi has that 30 patients afflicted with Dengue fever have been admitted in various private and government hospitals within one week.
He stated that last year more than 350 people had contracted the illness.
The MD also informed that an awareness campaign by Sindh’s Health Department is also started for the public so that people may take precautionary measures in order to protect them from the mosquitoes and subsequently the disease.
