LAHORE (Dunya News) – The corruption of millions of rupees in purchase of animals for Safari Park Lahore got exposed on Friday, reported Dunya News.
According to the sources, the officials dealing the purchase of animals for Safari Park bought the loins and other animals on a price four-fold than the original price. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has started the investigation of the alleged corruption of millions of rupees. The investigation will be against five officials of Wild Life Department.

Charges worth Rs. 640 million were left unpaid by the employees of the corporation and commodities worth Rs. 12.5 million went missing courtesy the corrupt elements.
According to the audit report, equipment worth Rs. 40 million burned to ashes in the corporation warehouse.
