Summary Suspects have confessed to their crimes during the investigation: FIA
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad Session Court extended seven days physical remand of the accused in Imran Farooq murder case on Monday, reported Dunya News.
According to details, the three accused, Moazam Ali, Khalid Shameem and Mohsin Ali, who are in FIA’s custody, were produced before Judicial Magistrate. FIA said that suspects have confessed to their crimes during the investigation and FIA will extend the scope of investigation in the light of their statements.
FIA’s lawyer pleaded before the court to extend physical remand of the accused. However, lawyer of the accused Moazam Ali contented that court had no authority to extend the remand of his client. The court sent the case to Additional Session Judge Raja Khurum Ali after the accused lawyer raised objection over extension of the remand. The court later on approved 7 days physical remand of the accused which was sought by FIA and asked to present the suspect in front of court on 4th of January.

West London court recorded statements of 10 persons including Imran Farooq s widow Shumaila on Tuesday, reports Dunya News.
Progress has been made in Imran Farooq murder case as Shumaila,Imran Farooq s widow with two children, appeared at West London Court. Her statement was recorded in the magistrates court.
Ten police officers have recorded their statements so far. The statements have been sealed and sent to police.
