Bilawal shouldn't get out of house if he fears for his life, says PML-F's Sheheryar Meher

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Ten-month-old late Bisma on Thursday has been laid to rest after she was denied treatment owing to protocol of Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) leadership.

PPP’s co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah were attending an inaugural ceremony in a hospital due to which the facilities were made unavailable to the patients.

A Lyari local rushed towards the hospital holding his ten-month-old daughter in his arms however, she died due to unnecessary delay. The medics told late Bisma’s father that they could have saved her if he had reached ten minutes before.

Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, while talking to the media after attending the ceremony completely ignored questions related to Bisma.

Following the incident, Lyari locals demonstrated against the Sindh government and the party leadership. However, former president Asif Ali Zardari, immediately after the news broke, ordered the PPP leaders in Sindh to avoid participating in ceremonies held in hospitals.

Reportedly, Bilawal has taken a vow from Bisma’s father, Faisal that he would not engage the party in legal battle.
