Two people killed, six injured in separate gas leakage mishaps in Quetta

The temperature in Quetta has dropped to -1, forcing residents to use gas heaters.

QUETTA (Dunya News) – At least two people including a child were killed in six different gas leakage mishaps in Quetta today (Monday).

The temperature in Quetta has dropped to -1 due to severe winter condition, forcing the residents to use gas heaters.

In Kali Faizabad, Nadia bibi fell unconscious while her four-year-old son Muhammad Akram died by suffocation due to gas leakage. The locals took the victims to hospital.

Meanwhile at Joint Road, gas outflow claimed life of Abbas Masih while father and son sustained severe burns in gas leakage explosion at Haji Ghaibi Road.

Separately, Pashtoon Abad also witnessed blast as room filled with gas, injuring Allauddin, his son Suleman and wife Hameeda bibi who were shifted to nearby hospital for medical assistance.

Further, one girl identified as Gull also became unconscious in Kali Almo whereas gas explosion also left Ubaidullah and Bin Yameen hurt in another two incidents.
