Karachi: Fire engulfs cardboard manufacturing factory
Goods, worth millions of rupees turned to ash in the fire.
KARACHI (Dunya News) –A raging fire engulfed a cardboard manufacturing factory in Bhangoria Goth, Azizabad area of Karachi. Goods, worth millions of rupees turned to ash in the fire. According to Deputy Fire Officer Imtiaz, the blazing flames were extinguished after a many hours of strenuous effort.
The rescue official informed that the fire started in oil drums placed on first floor of the building. Ten firefihgters and a bowser was used to put out the flames as strong winds caused further difficulty in the rescue process.
The workshop’s owner stated that the neighbors had informed the rescue teams of the blaze.
2 cars also suffered damages due to the flames.
