Conspiracy to murder Imran Farooq hatched in Pakistan, UK: JIT report

The ATC has remanded all three suspects of the case into FIA's custody for 7 days

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing Imran Farooq murder case has reportedly cracked the case and as per the report obtained by Dunya News, the conspiracy to murder was hatched in Pakistan and the United Kingdom (UK).

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Islamabad has remanded all three suspects of the case into Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) custody for 7 days.

According to details, the JIT started questioning the suspects on June 26 where the suspects had confessed that the conspiracy to murder Imran Farooq was hatched in Pakistan and the UK by Altaf Hussain, Muhammad Anwar, Iftikhar Hussain, Moazam, Mohsin and Khalid.

The report says that Khalid Shamim and Moazam Ali had sent Kashif and Mohsin to London. They murdered Imran Farooq on September 16, 2010 at Green Lane in London. The FIA had registered the fresh case on the basis of the same report.
