Imran Khan, Siraj-ul-Haq reach Karachi to hold joint rallies ahead of LB polls
Chairman of PTI Imran Khan and JI chief Siraj-ul-Haq will arrive in Karachi today.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami have all set to hold joint rallies in Karachi today (Saturday) at Quaid-e-Azam mausoleum and on Sunday at Kakri Ground ahead of last phase of local bodies elections.

According to details, chairman of PTI Imran Khan and JI chief Siraj-ul-Haq have arrived in Karachi after which they are leading the rally to the Quaid-e-Azam tomb via Shah Faisal, Natha Khan Goth, Darragh Road and Shahrah-e-Quaideen.

Several welcoming camps adorned with parties’ posters and flags have been arranged on the routes of the rally while the passionate workers are also ardently accompanying their leaders to the venue.
However, the leaders will also address a rally at Kakri Ground scheduled on Sunday.
The both parties are holding rallies without taking permission from the local administration and have also hired private guards in this regard. The local government has further urged the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take notice of the rallies on which the former President of PTI for the province of Sindh, Imran Ismail stated that the commissioner of Karachi should have told the condition before the rally.
On the other hand, Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique lashed out at PTI chief and said the sit-in politics of Imran Khan has been rejected by the people. He said that how can Imran Khan represent the citizens without knowing their issues.
Meanwhile, Information Minister Pervez Rashid termed Imran Khan as mentally divisive as he always takes such steps that spread anarchy and lawlessness in the society. He said that Khan does not respect any younger or elder person.
Earlier in Islamabad, PTI leader had used harsh words for the government as he objected to numerous obstacles placed in his path on his way to rally. He said that if a minister was not stopped from campaigning during elections, why he wasn’t allowed to hold a rally.
Criticizing the PM, Imran Khan said that a man who could not play cricket honestly can never conduct politics in a fair manner. He said that Nawaz Sharif had promised that he would bring back the money ‘looted’ by Asif Ali Zardari yet the amount of Rs 6 billion have never been brought back.
Imran Khan said that a robber cannot hold another robber accountable for his crimes. He said that up to 12 cases of corruption were registered against PM Nawaz yet no action had been taken by National Accountable Bureau (NAB).
