Lyari: Second cracker attack within 24 hours, 6 injured including PPP candidate
First cracker attack also targeted an election office of PPP on previous night in Lyari
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A cracker attack in Lyari area of Karachi left 6 injured including the Pakistan People’s Party’s candidate from UC-8 on Friday. This was the second cracker attack within last 24 hours in Lyari, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, PPP’s candidate for chairman from UC-8, Haji Abdul Majeed and 6 other injured workers were shifted to the Civil Hospital for medical aid. The first cracker attack also targeted an election office of PPP on previous night in Lyari.

Situation grew critical in Karachi after motorcyclists hurled a cracker attack on a house injuring 4 people including 2 women in Lyari on Friday, Dunya News reported.
The injured victims include Kalsoom, Azhra, Sadiq and Abdullah. A series of fire exchange took place after the cracker attack that intensified the situation.
Intermittent firing is still continued enticing harassment in the area confining people to their homes.
On the other hand, one man died as unidentified people opened fire in Chakiwara Hotel in Layari. The deceased has not been identified yet whereas a woman got injured in a firing incident in Lyari Afshani Street.
