RAHIM YAR KHAN (Dunya News) – The residents of Khanpur on Friday staged a protest against banning houbara bustard s hunt and demanded the government to reverse the ban.

The ban has not only irked the locals but also depressed veterinary doctors as the rehabilitation center is feared to be closed if the Arabs will not visit for hunting houbara bustard.

The centre was made in 1995 when Pakistani government welcomed its Arab counterparts to visit the country for houbara bustrad’s hunt. The Arab royals altogether made strong efforts for the breeding of the bird.
